I suspect that even when my kids have grown, I will still be buying vintage children's items. I can't resist! There is a child hiding in all of us and mine always surfaces when I come across a pile of whimsical linens. I was drawn to these adorable Kiddie quilt blocks from the 1950's. Each of these energetic bunnies, bears and kittens deserves to be featured front and center on their own little pillow. I hope I can do them justice!
Those are adorable.I've got a pile of embroidered and cross stitch pieces.I always feel bad when I see them in thrift stores being unloved after someone took the time to put so much work into it.Love the pom pom trim.
ReplyDeleteThose pillows are absolutely adorable!!! You have quite the eye for a good score and great skills to have turned them into something that can be enjoyed. Love it :)
ReplyDeleteThey're just darling! And how can you not love a pillow with bright red ball fringe? Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and they look great as pillows!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Mary Alice
I love vintage children's clothing, pillowcases, and I especially love the vintage embroidery! These quilt blocks are just adorable!

ReplyDeleteVery sweet!
ReplyDeleteI wish I sewed. As much as I craft, I didn't inherit the sewing gene. Your pillows are absolutely fabulous. Charming. Simply charming.
